WORKING WITH…
The European Commission | The UN (FAO) | The Nature Conservancy, USA | WWF Australia
Owned by Robert and Helen Arthur, Woodhill Solutions represents specialist technical expertise working to support sustainable livelihoods in the context of the changing environment and climate. We collaborate to develop accessible resources and practitioner guidelines that support programme design and implementation.

Robert Arthur has worked in a fisheries and livelihoods context across Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia for over 30 years. He has collaborated with a variety of partners including FAO (UN), The Nature Conservancy, WWF, Blue Justice, the World Bank Group, governments and a range of non-government organisations (NGOs).
Central to Robert’s approach are collaboration, co-design and capacity-building. He supports national and local partners to develop their own capabilities to assess and manage their natural resources.
Helen Arthur is a communications specialist in digital and offline content with a focus on natural resources management. She has over 25 years of experience as an editor, writer and user-focused digital content designer, championing plain English writing and accessibility. She has consulted with the BBC, European Commission, and UK government including the Environment Agency, Defra and Forestry Commission as part of the central Gov.UK communications project.
She supports colleagues and associates of Woodhill Solutions to deliver impactful analysis, editorial knowledge and digital tools in the context of sustainable livelihoods and is a client and delivery manager on behalf of the team.
